What we cover

TV mounting work we take on every week

From a single-screen lounge install to a dozen screens for a commercial fit-out — we mount it all.

01

Lounge & living-room mounts

The classic 'TV above the media unit' install — perfectly level, cables hidden, soundbar positioned and everything tested before we leave.

02

Bedroom & en-suite installs

Bedroom wall mounts with tilt brackets so the screen angles down towards the bed, plus discreet aerial and HDMI runs from the eye-line.

03

Chimney-breast mounting

We assess fireplace heat, find the studs or solid masonry, and use heat-rated brackets where the flue runs behind. Done right, it's the cleanest TV install in the house.

04

Plasterboard & stud walls

Done badly, plasterboard installs end with a TV on the floor. We locate studs with proper detectors, add noggins where needed, and use rated cavity fixings only as a last resort.

05

Full cable concealment

HDMI, aerial, power, optical, Ethernet — all run inside the wall or in slim colour-matched trunking. New double sockets, fused spurs and HDMI face plates fitted under Part P.

06

Outdoor & garden TVs

Weatherproof brackets for covered patios, gazebos and outdoor kitchens, with sealed cable entries and surge protection.

07

Soundbar & home cinema add-ons

Mount the soundbar below the TV, add wall-mount surround speakers, or wire in a 5.1 system — all in the same visit.

08

Re-mounting & rescue jobs

TV crooked, bracket too small, cables dangling? We strip out the existing install, fit a proper bracket and route the cabling neatly.

09

Commercial & retail screens

Multi-screen video walls, digital signage, meeting-room displays and reception TVs — quoted, supplied and installed to programme.

TV wall mounting service across Bucks and Herts for every wall type — solid brick, breeze block, plasterboard, stud, lath-and-plaster, stone, timber frame and chimney breasts. We supply fixed, tilting and full-motion brackets, conceal HDMI / aerial / power cables in or on the wall, fit additional sockets under Part P, and re-mount or re-cable TVs that have been done badly the first time.

A job that's harder than it looks — done right first time

Mounting a TV looks simple. It isn't — not if you want it done properly. Wrong bracket, missed stud, dangling cables or a slightly off-level screen are all common outcomes of rushed jobs. We've fixed plenty. We bring the right tools, the right brackets and the experience to handle every wall type and every scenario — including running cables inside the wall for a truly clean finish.

Why choose Aylesbury Aerials

Right bracket, right wall

We carry fixed, tilt and full-motion brackets for 32" to 98" screens, and use the correct fixings for brick, block, stud or stone.

Cables out of sight

Slim trunking or fully chased-and-plastered cable runs — your choice. No dangling HDMIs or trailing power leads.

Part P qualified

Need a new fused spur or socket behind the TV? We can fit it legally without calling in a separate electrician.

Re-mount and rescue work

TV mounted by someone else and you're not happy with it? We re-mount, re-level and tidy the cabling, often for less than you'd expect.

Common questions

Can you mount any size TV?

+

Yes — we carry brackets rated from 32" up to 85" and beyond. For very large or heavy screens we'll spec a heavy-duty bracket and confirm wall fixings are right for the load. We always check VESA compatibility before we arrive.

My wall is solid brick. Can you still mount a TV on it?

+

Absolutely. Solid brick is actually ideal for TV mounting. We use proper masonry anchors and carbide-tipped bits for clean holes.

Do you hide the cables in the wall?

+

In most cases, yes. Cables can run in neat surface trunking or — for a completely flush finish — be chased into the wall and made good. We'll show you both options and let you decide.

Do I need to buy the bracket before you arrive?

+

No — we carry a range of brackets and can supply the right one for your screen. If you've already bought one, tell us the make and model when you book and we'll confirm it's suitable.

How much does it cost to wall mount a TV?

+

Standard install from £150 if you supply the bracket, or £180 including a quality fixed/tilt bracket. Add £40 for trunked cable concealment, or more for chased-and-plastered in-wall cabling. Soundbars and additional sockets are quoted on top.

Can you move a TV that's already been mounted?

+

Yes — relocations are one of our most common jobs. We remove the existing bracket, make good the holes (filled and primed), re-mount on the new wall and re-route the cabling.

Do you also install soundbars and surround sound?

+

Yes. Soundbars are usually added in the same visit. For full 5.1 or Atmos surround we'll quote that as an AV install — see our Audio Visual page.
